I'm rather happy that despite my various moves and travels, I've been able to continue a tradition of Pizza Portraits, which, like many traditions, began rather spontaneously.

In September 2011, a few friends and I went hiking near Lake Ossiach in Austria. As far as a hiking trip goes, the days unfolded as you might expect: we did some hiking, some swimming, some eating (definitely, lots of eating), and snapped some fun photos along the way.

One of these snaps just happened to be a photo you take before the eating of food (as is customary in these modern times), and this food happened to be pizza.
